About Rensia's House

In loving memory of Rensia de Wet 20.04.1968 – 09.12.2014

Rensia's House is a Family Foster home that Pebbles & Ripples set up in 2021 with the help of sponsors.

The vision & mission of the home is to create a safe environment where, up to 9, children can grow up.

Even though the home is completely run on donations, we are not a baby home or an institution.

We are a family home in the Ramsgate community where we aim to give Rensia's Treasures a normal, happy & healthy family life.

Rewriting a story

Rensia was Robbie’s niece & Danielle’s cousin.

She was the victim of gender based violence and left this earth too soon.

However, by dedicated this house to her and naming it after her,

we remember her for who she was, what she did and her legacy lives on forever.

Rensia’s life is an inspiration to me

To have the courage to be who I am meant to be.

I still hear her voice whisper in the breeze

“You are beautiful and worthy,

Pursue your dreams!”

May this house be her legacy

And a testament to this truth:

A seed that falls and dies, is not alone

But will truly produce much new fruit.

So be filled with hope, all who enter here
